Hunger Games Quote Essay

The Hunger Games is a great book with many emotions and tons of action. On page 21 it says One time, when I was in a blind in a tree, waiting unchanging for game to wander by, I dozed off and fell go feet to the ground, landing on my back. It was as if the impact had knocked every wisp of origin from my lungs, and I lay there struggling to inhale, to exhale, to do anything. I like this passage because it is a flash back. The chance of her sister being drawn in the reaping is only a piece of a percent and even though it was obvious she would be a break dance of the Hunger Games, I did not conjecture that this is how Katniss would end up in them.
Another part I liked is when she has private sessions with the Game Makers. I like this part because it is one of the few funny parts in this book. I think this book was intended to be a practiced book. If I were in her place I would not devour been courageous enough to mess with the people who were planning my death. The eld of illegal hunting run through made her good at shooting and her shooting the arrow at the apple in the roast pigs mouth shows this. It also shows how burning she can be with other people even though when she hunts she can be very patient.
The third part I liked about this book is that Katniss befools friends that are not from order 12.



Rue, I think is the best ally she could have. She may not be a Career but she still is tight and she accepts that at whatsoever point one of them will have to die. An example of this is on page 213 when Katniss goes to destroy the Careers supplies. Rue gives her a hug as if Katniss was someone she had know for a long time. Katniss hesitates before returning the hug because she does not want to trip up too attached to her since this will make it harder for her to let her go if she dies.
