The Native Americans had that name for a reason. They were native to the Americas and lived there entirely their lives, but when the incline came thats when things changed. There was tension amidst the incline and the Native Americans for many reasons. Plus the Indians didnt analogous how the English just came over and took land that belonged to them. With all this, the temperament between the Indians and the English was filled with hate.
At first the English wanted to convert the Indians into their lifestyle. They were hoping to educate some Indians and send them mangle to college. From there, they would send those educated Indians out to convert others. so as fitted to fitted for college intended for them; that from hence they may be sent to that ferment of conversion (Document A, Proceedings of the Virginia House of Burgesses, 1619). As we know, this did non effect and very few Indians were converted, and stayed with their culture and religion. I mean who could unredeemed them that was their way of life.
In the beginning, the Native Americans were peaceful with the English. When they first came, the Indians bare those gifts and were looking for trade. Despite all this, the English still hardened the Indians poorly by making them slaves and taking their land.



The Indians even came to the homes of English peacefully with no weapons but with food and fur to trade. heretofore with that, the English killed the defenseless Indians in their homes. they basely and barbarously murdered, not sparing either age or sex, man, woman, or churl (Document B Virginia Company of London).
The mistreatment towards the Indians of course did not go unnoticed. currently the Indians got fed up with the English and how they were treating them and they retaliated.
