The five simple polyhedral are tetrahedron (pyramid), hexahedron (cube), octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedrons (Williams, 1986). The only rationality why Descartes didnt have this theorem after him was because he didnt publish his works until 1860 which by than it was already known as Eulers Theorem.
